What if your weekly pie and coffee habit could change the trajectory of a family? It sounds like a tall order, but for PK Board member Grant Richards, the math is simple.
After two decades of seeing lives transformed through Promise Keepers, Grant has a personal message about legacy, sacrifice, and why he’s more passionate than ever about reaching the men of New Zealand.
By Grant Richards
It’s that time of year when Promise Keepers needs your help.
I have been involved in Promise Keepers for well over twenty years from attending events, singing in the choir, stage managing the events and now I’m privileged to be on the Board.
"PK has changed my life and fuelled my passion for men’s ministry."
Hearing over 500 men singing and praising the Lord in an auditorium is amazing, and so is seeing men become new Christians because their brothers brought them to PK.
I ask that you prayerfully consider what you can afford to give to PK in the coming year to help fund this men’s ministry that changes men, fathers, sons and families of this nation.
So where do we use these donated funds? Every dollar donated goes straight to PK to fund:
- Ministry to men
- Resources
- Running costs
- Events
Any amount helps – it could be a one-off donation or become a monthly PK donor.
If you’re like me, you may have to cut back on the weekly pies and coffee and use this to fund PK.
And here’s the best part: When you give before 31 March, you aren't just giving up a few coffees - you’re gaining a 33% tax refund back in your pocket after 1 April. It’s the perfect time of year to make your generosity go further.
Luke 6:38, “Give and it will be given to you”.
Thank you for your time and God bless.
Please see details below on how you can give to this vital men’s ministry.
Blessings,
Grant Richards
P.S. You may wish to leave a bequest to PK in your Will so future generations of men can experience PK.
Remember: Give by 31 March for your 33% tax rebate.

Start your day with brothers from across NZ. This week, we’re diving into Grant Richards’ story of transformation and legacy.
We’ll be discussing:
The Shift: The time a PK event or gathering shifted your faith.
The Ripple Effect: How spiritual growth changed the atmosphere of your home.
The Sacrifice: Grant is trading pies and coffee to see more men reached for Christ. What small sacrifice could you make for the next generation?
The Legacy: If you could leave just one spiritual truth for the next generation what would it be?
